Southport is a popular tourist destination.
We recommend securing accommodations early.
There are several hotels in the area and several rentals on Airbnb and Vrbo.
About 15 minutes from Southport are the beach towns of Oak Island and Caswell Beach. Caswell Beach is less populated with a quieter vibe.
There are many oceanfront properties to choose from on Airbnb, Vrbo or
through a rental agency.
TRANSPORTATION
The closest airport is ILM located in Wilmington, NC. It is about a 40 minute drive.
Myrtle Beach also has an airport (MYR) and is about a 1.5 hour drive.
Uber is not readily available in Southport.
